Larissa Cleveland Portrait by Erik Ketcham

Artist Statement

Simply put – I LOVE my job.

I feel privileged to be able to make art every day and to share it with my clients, knowing that it will be something that brings them joy for years to come.

I was given my first camera at age 12 and I was hooked for life. The camera became a tool for communication and investigation – a way to record and explore the world around me. I wanted my images to say more than just ‘this is what happened,’ but also, ‘this is how it felt.’

My approach to photography is intuitive and emotional, influenced by photojournalism, fine art and fashion. My goal is to make images that bleed passion and color, seep humor and excitement, and expose the beautiful, whimsical, spontaneous moments of real life and love.

I will travel anywhere and love to meet new people.
