Classically educated in both film and digital, Larissa received a Bachelor of Fine Art in Photography from Kendall College of Art and Design, as well as a Masters in Photography from Rochester Institute of Technology in New York. She first took up the camera at age 13, and has been refining her ability to capture the world around her in an honest and artful light ever since.
Larissa’s fine art photography is a unique blend of photojournalism, classic portraiture and editorial style, resulting in images that are both timeless and modern in the same breath. Modern in that they evoke emotion and tell a story as a photojournalist might. Timeless in their beauty, true-to-life color palette, and composition in congruence with an editorial look and feel.
Larissa receives continued praise for her creativity, and ability to put her clients at ease, allowing them to relax in front of the camera. Her work has been featured in top publications including Brides Magazine, Martha Stewart Weddings, Pacific Weddings, Grace Ormonde, The Knot, Brides Modern Luxury, Cosmo, Destination Weddings and Honeymoons, C Magazine, Style Me Pretty and Green Wedding Shoes, as well as The New York Times, and The Huffington Post.
